Drying Up to London was a fundraising tea-towel auction at the Hidden Art Cornwall launch event. Over 50 unique teatowels were designed by members, friends and associates of Hidden Art Cornwall, including some by special invited wellknown designers.
 
The tea-towels were displayed and auctioned anonymously and a grand total of £966. was raised!
 
Drying Up to London was a project to enable 17 Hidden Art Cornwall designer-makers to go to London and participate in the Hidden Art annual Open Studios Nov 26-27 and Dec 3-4, (www.hiddenartcornwall.co.uk/openstudios).

The tea-towels were auctioned with an inspiring and energetic performance by David Lay of Lays Auctions, the fine Art and Antique auction house in Penzance.
