I was born and brought up on a small holding on the edge of Bodmin Moor, surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. During these early formative years I developed a love and empathy with all animals and their shape and form. The sculptures I make today strongly reflect these early memories. I make a range of stoneware animals – Rare Breed pigs, cattle, dogs, cats, horses, otters, badgers, hares, sea birds. I have demonstrated in the Rare Breed tent at the Royal Cornwall show, where I was commissioned to make prize winning pigs, and sheep. I also make a range of stoneware light globes, designed to create romantic mood light effects for the modern home. I live and work from my small studio on the North Cornish Coast. The wonderful flora and fauna that inhabits my garden provides me with a constant supply of inspirational material. I feel truly privileged to be able to live and produce my interpretation of the wonderful wildlife that inhabits our beautiful county of Cornwall. Price range: £75 - £400 |
