Fi's company, Artglass UK is best known for collections of fused glass, in the form of limited production, signed bowls and autonomous figurative and landscape panels. New collections this year also include beautiful handmade fused glass and sterling silver jewellery in Fi's simple yet distinctive style. Fi's glass design work also includes more traditional stained glass - from room dividers or fireplace screens to backgammon boards and windows, into which she may introduce kiln formed elements. Living in the far west of Cornwall, it would be impossible for Fi not to be influenced by the stunning scenery that surrounds her - land, sea and skyscapes that are constantly changing: seas at one moment calm, the next tempestuous: clouds edged with burning gold: barren moorlands dotted with gorse ambers and purple heathers.
