I grew up in an artistic home and from a very young age was drawn to art and design, but have been especially excited by jewellery design for the last 10 years or more. The idea of creating a piece of wearable artwork fascinates me. I attended the Art School in Penzance about 3 years ago to learn silversmithing. The whole course was a fascinating challenge to me and I immediately started to develop my own style, incorporating wire-wrapping techniques into my designs. I still love the way silver wire can be used to create twists, folds and swirls of movement. Having always been attracted to organic materials, I enjoy working with gemstones and creating a unique piece of jewellery that particularly enhances the natural beauty of a single stone. I aim to create unusual beautiful shapes; simple, contemporary and elegant jewellery that also has that touch of class that you will want to wear time and again. All pieces are available in a variety of gemstones. Price range: £20 - £80 |
