I’m a self-taught designer-maker, always trying to capture the refracted light, colours and textures of the sea hitting a rocky shoreline. I explore everything and anything, getting caught up in ideas then moving on, so I have a huge diversity of style: simple, vibrantly operatic, dainty, big and bold; always feminine and always wearable. Materials are stones, unusual Murano or other fine handmade glass beads, freshwater pearls and a liberal mix of Swarovski crystals finished with sterling or rolled gold. I sell through my studio workshop in Porthleven, and the bridal range and a small collection of earrings is available on www.tombodama.com . I work to commission mostly for bespoke bridal jewellery.
