Hidden Art Cornwall Stand *
Hidden Art is a respected platform at 100% Design, launching some of the brightest new stars in the business to the international market. Hidden Art Cornwall exhibited for the first time at 100% Design 2005 with a small space on the main Hidden Art stand, showcasing the work of two selected designer-makers; Ismini Samanidou and Green & Blue.

Hidden Art wins Best Contribution to 100% Design 2005
Hidden Art's hard work over its eight outings at 100% Design has finally been recognised by the Blueprint award for the Best Contribution to 100% Design in September 2005.

17 Hidden Art members with another two from Hidden Art Cornwall exhibited at London’s top trade fair. The award is designed to reward the company or person who, in the opinion of the judges, has made the most creative impact at 100% Design - whether it be for stand design, graphics or products.

This is the first year that Hidden Art has done all the graphic design for promotional materials in-house, with stand design by exhibition specialist Marc Younger.

The judges felt that the stand was collectively outstanding with each product allowed to shine individually, celebrating the diverse work of emerging designers and summing up the spirit of 100% Design.

Ismini Samanidou is a textile designer, designing and making ‘one off’ wall hangings as well as fabrics to be manufactured and applied within an interior. Ismini takes photographs of details, of the insignificant minutiae around us which she then uses directly by weaving on computerised looms experimenting with texture, material and process. Ismini will be showed her fabric 'Ismini' at 100%DESIGN which is manufactured in England and distributed by George Spencer Designs.

Green & Blue are a product design duo, Kate Knapp and Gavin Christman. They met whilst working at Dyson and established Green & Blue in 2004. They have recently launched their first product ‘birdball’ an alternative nesting space for garden birds. Birdball is a spherical ceramic birds-house, in terracotta or semi-porcelain that challenges expectation and compliments the environment. It can be hung or wall mounted and combines a minimal aesthetic style with nest practicality!
