In 2008 Hidden Art Cornwall will be running a series of evening Forums. The sessions will run from 6-8pm and have been scheduled to fit in with specific projects and events running throughout the year.
The forums will be open to all Hidden Art Cornwall designer-makers and are free to attend.
2008 Programme
Collaborative Working Practice - Thursday 20 March
Venue: University College Falmouth, Tremough Campus, Penryn, 6-8pm
Led by Karin Rucker, this workshop will help practitioners to develop productive collaborations. It aims to:
Help participants to reflect on how collaboration could benefit them
Highlight some of the pitfalls of collaboration
Highlight the key elements of effective collaboration
Provide some tips on developing collaboration agreements
Offer an opportunity to develop a set of agreements for group collaboration
Design Fair Feedback and Photographing Your Work - Thursday 27 March
Venue: University College Falmouth, Tremough Campus, Penryn, 6-8pm
An opportunity to give your feedback on the 2007 Design Fair and have your questions answered about this year's event. The evening will also include information and tips on photographing your work, ready for inclusion in the Design Fair promotional material.
Presentation and Selling Skills - Wednesday 25 June
Venue: To be confirmed
This session is aimed at getting the most out of selling shows.
Alongside the evening sessions will be two one-day forums, running as part of the Making it Digital project.
