This one day forum was aimed at designer-makers wanting to access new markets by moving towards manufacturing, outsource specific areas of their practice to increase production or design for manufacture.

 

The forum covered topics such as; sourcing and approaching manufacturers, managing the production process, researching manufacturers abroad, working to a brief, and legal areas such as contracts, royalties and licensing a design. It was a highly informative day that introduced delegates to high level practitioners from both design and cosultancy.
