The first Hidden Art showcase at The Salt Gallery
As part of the official launch event of Hidden Art Cornwall, The Salt Gallery in Hayle showcased the work of 24 Hidden Art Members from Cornwall and London. This was an opportunity for London members to access Cornish markets and for Cornwall members to develop their profile within the region. The exhibition ran from Friday 11th to Friday 18th November.

Hidden Art London designer-makers selected to exhibit were: Yoyo ceramics (ceramics), Multi (ceramics), Bookery (bookbinding), Very Garcia (metalwork), Spinifex (interior products), Alexandra Mitchell (ceramics), Annie Neill (fashion accessories), Rosalind Davis (fashion), WEmake (interior products and furniture), Flaunt Creative (lighting and interior produtcs), and Sue Binns (ceramics).

www.thesaltgallery.co.uk is an artist led gallery and installation space showing and selling the work of emerging and established artists and designer-makers. Situated in Hayle in the west of Cornwall The Salt Gallery is owned and run by two ex Hidden Art London members; Louise Fox and Marilyn Middlemiss, who moved from the Chocolate Factory in Stoke Newington to Cornwall in 2000 and established The Salt Gallery in 2004. The Salt Gallery was awarded 'Best New Gallery in Cornwall' by the Cornwall Today magazine in 2004
